Not too many days 'till our departure

counting down..

I got to see my American family last summer after 20+ years of mainly sending letters, emails, christmas cards and occational phonecalls. After a frustrating 24 hours wait in Salt Lake City we finally landed to Missoula on the 4th of July. Funny how people change, yet they have not changed a bit. It did not take us more than a few minutes at the airport to start acting just the way we did back in 1988. And I felt like I had come home. These people are so good at heart, 20+ years ago they took me right into their family and now they instantly took my husband and my son as a part of the family too.

I have re-lived those moments and feelings over and over during the past year, and now I will have a change to do it again. Sometimes happiness can be measured, sometimes not. My level is skyhigh!

And that is not all! I have always wanted to see Alaska for some strange reason. I have dreamt of taking my camera out to the wilderness and to the glacier. So off I go on saturday! 7 days of exploring Alaska is waiting for us, and then I get to "go home" to Florence, Montana for another week. I'll let you know how it went!
